Antoine Harris My life and spirit have been shaped by three very powerful, yet gentle women: my mother Olivia, my Grandmother Canellas, and my Grandma Rose. They shared with me their gifts to encourage and motivate, and their own playful and positive spirits. My mother Olivia still lives. But I lost my Grandmother Canellas and Grandma Rose to cancer several years ago.

Being in the custom clothing business, I routinely come across friends and clients that are fighting various battles with cancer.

One of my best clients shaved his head to show his suppport for his wife. Shaving my head was not likely to have a noticeable impact in showing support for a loved one. I'm bald. That started me thinking about how I could honor the memories of Grandmother Canellas and Grandma Rose and show support for other family members that are battling cancer.

I had the idea for a line of neckties that would help today's more emotionally and spiritually connected men to show thier support for their loved ones fighting cancer. The first in this line is the Breast Cancer Awareness necktie. I called on some of the brightest minds in the clothing business to create a tie befitting such a worthy concept. In doing this, I wanted to ensure that these ties are made of the finest quality silk with the pink ribbon sewn elegantly into the silk. While the tie is a visible symbol of support, Antoine Harris & Company donates a portion of the proceeds from the retail price to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
